Reverse Type 2 Diabetes

You’ve seen all the news reports.  The trend for diabetes is worsening.

‘Key findings from the National Diabetes Statistics Report’

 

The report finds that:

  • In 2015, an estimated 1.5 million new cases of diabetes were diagnosed among people ages 18 and older.
  • Nearly 1 in 4 four adults living with diabetes – 7.2 million Americans – didn’t know they had the condition. Only 11.6 percent of adults with prediabetes knew they had it.
  • Rates of diagnosed diabetes increased with age. Among adults ages 18-44,     4% had diabetes. Among those ages 45-64 years, 17% had diabetes. And among those ages 65 years and older, 25% had diabetes.

Rates of diagnosed diabetes were higher among certain communities:

American Indians/Alaska Natives (15.1% )

Non-Hispanic blacks (12.7% )

Hispanics (12.1% )

Compared to:  

Asians (8.0 % )

Non-Hispanic whites (7.4% )

Other differences include:

  • Diabetes prevalence varied significantly by education. Among U.S. adults with less than a high school education, 12.6% had diabetes.   Among those with a high school education, 9.5% had diabetes; and among those with more than a high school education, 7.2% had diabetes.
  • More men (36.6% ) had pre-diabetes than women (29.3% ). Rates were similar among women and men across racial/ethnic groups or educational levels.
  • The southern and Appalachian areas of the United States had the highest rates of diagnosed diabetes and of new diabetes cases.

 

This isn’t in some far-flung country caused by the Zika virus or the Tse tse fly, this is happening right here to you and your family because of how we’ve been taught to eat.  It’s not a mystery and it’s not complicated to reverse but it’s difficult to do.   If you have diabetes you need to be here.  If you live in the US and eat the food and live the lifestyle, you’re GOING to have diabetes.  That’s why you need to be here.  If you’re still eating a low fat diet, you’re going to have diabetes and high cholesterol clogging up your arteries and damaging your brain or stopping your heart.

Lower your cholesterol and get off the statins.

They are destroying your brain anyway (yes, Lipitor, Zocor and the like, act just like Dawn dishwashing detergent in your sink.   Statins break down fats but your brain is made of fat – so cholesterol, memory and IQ all go down)    Unless you are a senior citizen male who’s already had a heart attack, there’s no research to support the theory that you’re going to benefit from statins to lower your cholesterol anyway.  In fact, the research says, people who use statins have a higher risk of being dead than people who don’t.  Ironically, people are sold on statins to avoid being dead.  Dying early with corrected cholesterol isn’t the goal.  We simply can’t medicate our way back to health.

Losing weight

Improve your balance and tone.  This is important because some of simplest research on how long you’re going to live is measured in how well you can stand on one foot.  How quickly you can get up out of a chair multiple times.  And how quickly you walk down the hall and back.  In other words, your fitness.

And, there’s cancer.  Many have already been to the Cancer Killer workshop and some of the concepts are used here too.  The same things that keep your heart healthy, your insulin in check and your weight down, also benefit your immune system.  The emphasis will be on insulin and weight loss for this one, but all health problems, even things inflammatory in nature, like arthritis and IBS will improve if you can adopt the lifestyle principles we’re going to show you.

I understand you are busy.  You already eat well.  You know how to exercise.  You don’t eat junk food.  You quit drinking pop years ago.  You only have pizza on the weekends. And it’s just too much for you to fit a seminar into your schedule.

This is like going to church (or synagogue or mosque or temple).  Most people have done this more than once.  I can’t speak to other faiths but in my case, when I go to church to worship, the message is the same every time.  It is the story of how my infinity has been insured by Jesus coming and giving Himself up on the cross.  That is the same story every time I go!  Why do I keep going ?   I’m pretty sure other faiths are similar though.  Why do we keep going when the message is the same?   What possible benefit do you get from hearing it over and over and over and over?   Again, I can only speak for me……  But, every time I go… I get a smidge better at it.  Every time I hear the message I pick up a different nuance that I can use to improve my ability to live the lifestyle of a Christian.  There is no arrival point where it’s perfect.

When I hear people say they eat well, I compare it to this process.  Yes, probably they are better than when they were teenagers eating a steady diet of Ramen noodles and Trix cereal, but perfect?  A nutritious profile to manage the risks of their day to day exposure to toxins?  Their inherited risk for disease processes?  The years of nerve damage to specific organs that can’t fend for themselves too well anymore?  There just isn’t an arrival point where you stop learning about how to eat.  I’ve been working on this for decades and I learn new things all the time.
